After watching an interview with Caroline Hirons and reading endless amazing reviews on the product I finally decided to invest in the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm. I then came across this 4 piece discovery collection which was been sold on QVC for only £33.34 and it included the Queen of Hungry Mist which I also really wanted to try so it would have been rude not to buy.
Tuna loves it ^
The set includes:
- 1 x Thermal Cleansing Balm (15ml) – a purifying cleanser that is scented with orange blossom oil and will swiftly remove make-up. Contains Hungary moor mud which is rich in calcium and magnesium.
- 1 x Illuminating Moisturiser (20ml) - contains Vitamin C (from Barbados Cherry), apple pectin and plum almond oil for long-lasting hydration and suppleness
- 1 x Queen of Hungary Mist (30ml) - adapted from the Queen of Hungary Water, the world's first recorded perfume, formulated for Queen Elisabethe of Hungary in the 14th century. Scented with Orange blossom, rose and sage, this will help tone and purify the skin
- 1 x Rejuvenating Night Cream (20ml) – firms and plumps the skin whilst helping to minimise the appearance of fine lines. Contains hazelnut peptide, carrot oil, vitamin A and apple pectin
I've only tried the cleansing balm twice to date but not to remove make-up, I feel it's too much of a waste to use it as a make-up remover so I use it after removing make-up as an extra step to my cleansing routine. The smell of it is not exactly heavenly but it's nothing compared to the foul smell of the Anne Semonin Mineral Mask (I'll review soon) so it's definitely bearable. The texture is kind of gel like once you've broken into it but it blends smoothly over the skin (even though it kind of feels like your rubbing Vaseline onto your face), it also has tiny little black particles in it that leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. It's a definite luxury and not something I use everyday, I swap between different cleansers so this one I will use maybe once or twice a week depending on my skin. I love the product but I'm unsure on the outcome as I'm one of those people that swap between loads of different products instead of sticking to one routine religiously to see if it's giving good results, therefore I have absolutely no idea if it made any difference to the appearance of my skin which basically makes this review a waste of time, BUT it does leave your skin feeling like it's just been pampered which must mean it's good, right?
Despite that shit review ^ I love the day and night moisturisers, even though the day one is thicker than my usual Origins day moisturiser, it doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy it just leaves it feeling soft and hydrated ready for make-up and it also contains Vitamin C which is a major plus and saves me from using my body shop vitamin C spritz which I don't really like using. The night moisturiser is also like a luxurious blanket for the face but I haven't used it very often as I'm still trying to tackle my breakout prone skin therefore I've been using other products but I think it'll be a winner for when my skins having it's good days.
The Queen of Hungry mist is another product I've been keen to try especially as I'm going travelling soon so I'm looking for staple products to take with me to keep my skin hydrated and fresh. It claims to tone and purify the skin with its ingredients and I'm a believer of its claims purely because of it's in depth Hungarian spa background and the fact it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and awake! I use it sometimes after my cleansing routine if I'm not in a rush to apply make-up or if I already have a face on I'll spritz it over the top which doesn't effect my make-up and gives my skin a little pick me up. It's also alcohol-free and smells amazing.

So overall I'm really glad I picked up these trial size products at the price I paid but whether I'll be repurchasing any of them at full size is something I've not yet determined...
